How do you enter a new mail account into Ezian?

  1. When you start Ezian for the first time the Add an Email Account Wizard is automatically displayed.
  2. Other times, click Prefs from opening screen.  The Account (identities) screen is displayed.
  3. Click Add to display the same Add an Email Account Wizard .
First Wizard panel
  1. First, tell Ezian where you get your mail.
  2. You can later add many other accounts.  This wizard will show anew for each one.
  3. Choose either POP3 (server mail account) or Yahoo.
  4. If you chose Yahoo, then read "How do I set up a Yahoo account?".
  5. Click Next for new panel.
Second Wizard panel
  1. Type in your username.
  2. Type in your email account password.
  3. Click Next for new panel, Back for Previous.
Third Wizard panel
  1. Type in your incoming mail server info.
  2. Type in your outgoing mail server info.
  3. Type the email address you want as your email identity.
  4. Click Next for new panel. Back for previous.
Fourth Wizard panel
  1. The two items on this panel are optional.
  2. The name on emails can be a real name or an alias
  3. Click Signature button to select a signature.
  4. See "How do I select a signature?"
  5. Click Next for new panel. Back for previous.
Fifth Wizard panel
  1. Click Finish to complete your new email account (identity).
  2. Click Back if you wish to go back and make a change.
