A new addressbook entry can be a Person or a Group.

Explore help: click on picture!

Choose which type of entry you are creating by clicking the circle (also called radio button) by the label for the kind of addressbook entry you are creating.  A person is an individual and will be a single entry.  A Group is available for you to organize individual people in your addressbook better.
