Online help

The lower right of the Chat screen shows all recipients who know you with the same identity that you chose from the identity screen.

Review the Legend box to familiarize yourself with the icons.

The icon beside a person's name can change while you are chatting. Someone who is shown with a red "X" as offline may come online, and you might observe the red "?" showing that Ezian is checking, periodically as Ezian determines each person's current on- or offline status.

Checking who's online
In the lower right panel a list of recipients are displayed.  These are those Ezian users from your address book who know you by the same identity as the person you originally chose. As Ezian checks to see who is on line the icons beside the names will change. The green check shows they are online and ready to be invited to chat.

Inviting someone to chat
When the person you wish to chat with shows with the green online check, then with that name highlighted, click on the Invite button, and the Invite screen will come up.
